She then used tinfoil to shape the roofs, then she shaped the door and base with tinfoil and glue this on.
This was then all covered in air dried clay, she shaped the doors and windows and anything else she wanted enhanced.
She also added little chimneys.
This is why air dried clay is not the best choice. When it was dry I picked it up and it crumpled up and fell to bits.
She then started using a home made recipe. this stuff dries in a day and is rock hard.
After it is dry you use water to smooth out and tidy everything up. Works great.

As fairy houses are natural and muted my wife decided to ramp it up and make this one bright colours. VERY BRIGHT.
Put on lots of varnish or lacquer to ensure it's water tight, this will stop any deterioration from the weather.
