I was going to use 1 tyre and a large log but decided to do it this way, just so i could use the smaller tyres.#
We used a small tyre with a larger motorbike tyre on top to make the toadstool.
First we painted the smaller tyre with cream masonry paint.
Take the larger tyre and put some wood inside it to form the seat, I used some old decking wood removed from an arched bridge (in old garden photos), screw this into the edge of the tyre.
Now use some old stuffing from something, we used old pillows, and place it on top, then use your toadstool looking material to cover it all, we used some oil cloth brought from ebay for about £5, we stapled this to the underside of the tyre
We then turned them over and screwed both tyres together from the bottom so they don't move, now they are the perfect hight for the chess board.
